과거 저와 제 아내는 대학교에서 같이 한복그림, 일러스트 등 같이 동업하면서 생활비를 충당하곤 했습니다. 이번일도 같이 해야 한다는 조건이었던 것이죠. 우리는 약 1개월간 거기서 탱화를 그렸습니다. 처마 밑에서 작업하는 것이라 목과 허리가 무척이나 아프지만 그래도 아내와 함께 하는 일이라 힘들어도 견뎌냈습니다.

In our college days, we would draw Korean costumes and other types of illustrations which covered our living expenses.   Finishing the drawing in the temple was her condition for us to get back together. We worked on the temple drawing for about a month.   Laboring under the eaves, I felt much pain in my neck and waist. However, it was endurable since I was able to work with my wife.
