눈부신 아침햇살에 산과 들 눈뜰때
그 맑은 시냇물 따라 내 마음도 흐르네

가난한 이 마음을 당신께 드리리
황금빛 수선화 일곱송이도

긴 하루 어느듯 가고 황혼이 물들면
집 찾아 돌아가는 작은새들 보며

꽃 집에서 아내가 값을 흥정하는 동안

 

페튜니아 꽃잎이 시들고 있었다

 

아내의 눈가에 문득

 

세월의 잔물결이 출렁거리고

 

잔물결 이랑사이로 스미는

 

저녁노을이 방금 피어나는

 

영산홍을 곱게 물들이고 있었다

 

꽃들이 지고

 

어느새 어두워지고 있었다
