가난한 사람들은 집이 없습니다. 벽돌로 지은 집도 없으려니와 이해하고 감싸주고 사랑해 주는 마음의 집도 없습니다. 가난한 사람들은 헐벗었습니다. 의복도 없으려니와 인간의 존엄도 잃어버리고 헐벗은 죄인이 받아야 할 연민도 받지 못하고 있습니다.

Those who are poor have no home. They do not have a house built of brick, and they do not have the house of mind that understands and protects and gives love.   Those who are poor are in ragged clothes. They lose human dignity, and they may not receive compassion that shabby sinners should receive
