직장을 전전하는 사람들은 이직 후에 행복할까? < 이직은 후회하는 이유 > 이전  직장보다  그다지  낫지  않아서  :  32% 명성만 못해서 : 21% 새 직장이 약속을 지키지 않아서 : 19% [Source : Jobkorea] 새로운 통계에 따르면 70퍼센트의 젊은 직장인들이 이직을 고려해 본 적이 있다고 한다. 그러나 실제로 새로운 직장으로 옮긴 사람의 대부분은 나중에 꼭 후회한다. 직업을 바꾼 1,557명을 대상으로 한 설문에서 82퍼센트나 이직을 후회했다고 했다. 이런 이유에는 새로운 직장이 이전 직장보다 좋지 않거나, 명성보다는 좋지 않고, 또 새로운 직장이 더 높은 연봉과 승진 약속을 지키지 않는 경우이다. 직업을 바꾸고 새로운 직장으로 옮기는 많은 이들은 큰 희망과 기대를 가지고 시작한다. 그리고 대부분 나중에 새로운 직장은 그들이 기대한 만큼 그리 좋지 않음을 깨닫게 된다. 그들의 실망은 ‘남의 떡이 더 커 보인다.’는 속담에 비유 할 수 있다. In a survey of 1,557 employees who changed their jobs, a whopping 82 percent said they have regretted their move. Reasons include that the new job is not any better than their old one, the new company is not as good as its reputation, and the new company didn’t keep its promise of higher salaries and promotions. Many of those that change jobs and move to another company start out with hopes and expectations. Later many of them come to realize that the new job isn’t quite as good as what they had expected.
