저는 소개팅을 전혀 좋아하지 않습니다. 그런데 한번은 친구가 남자를 한 명 소개시켜 주었습니다. 소개팅을 하는 게 별로 내키지 않았는데 친구가 꼭 만나 보라고 졸랐습니다. m래서 그 사람을 한 커피숍에서 만났습니다. 그런데 그 사람을 보자마자 내 스타일이 아니라는 것을 단번에 알 수 있었습니다. 키가 꽤 큰 편이고 자신감이 있어 보이기는 했지만 옷을 입은 스타일이 마음에 들지 않았습니다. 게다가 기대에 어긋나게도 머리를 노란색으로 염색까지 했습니다. 이야기를 나누면서 우리가 공통점이 전혀 없다는 것도 깨달았습니다. 그 자리에 있으면 있을수록 점점 더 빨리 집에 가고 싶은 생각뿐 이었습니다. 소개팅은 불과 한 시간만에 끝났지만 마치 오랜 시간처럼 느껴졌습니다.

I don’t like blind dates at all. There was this one time when my friend set me up with a guy. I didn’t feel like going on a blind date, but my friend strongly insisted that I meet this person. So I met this guy at a coffee shop. But as soon as I saw him, I knew he wasn’t my type. He was quite tall and looked confident but I didn’t like the way he dressed. He also had dyed his hair yellow, which was not something I had expected. As we talked, I also realized that we had nothing in common. The longer I stayed there, the more I wanted to leave. The blind date only lasted for an hour, but it felt like it was several hours.
